We have had several parents contact us because they received an email from an organization that appeared to be connected to Forbush High School. If you get an email asking for a membership fee from someone who is not a Forbush employee and you are not certain if it is legitimate, please feel free to forward the email to me or to one of our counselors. We will be happy to verify the organization for you if you are uncertain. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

I want to congratulate our cheerleading squad for their recent performance at their summer camp. Our JV team won the “superior” award and the varsity team finished runner-up in their division while also earning best dance routine. In addition, Gabby Grooms and Lakyn Holleman were selected to the All-American team and will have the opportunity to represent North Carolina by cheering at the Florida Citrus Bowl in January. Congratulations to Gabby, Lakyn, and the entire cheerleading team.
