I want to begin this evening by thanking everyone for your patience and flexibility in the midst of last weekend’s winter storm. The changes in the calendar caused by the weather forced us to alter our exam schedule, so I appreciate all of our students and parents working with us as we made the necessary adjustments.

Students who have accumulated more than 8 unexcused absences during the fall semester are asked to pick up their attendance appeals paperwork in the Pass Room. All paperwork is due on Friday, January 20, in order to be considered. Please see Mrs. Baity or an administrator if you have a question about your attendance in a particular class.

Friday: Wrestling vs. Surry Central and Ashe County

Also, our swim team competes in the conference championship meet on Friday at the Armfield Civic Center in Pilot Mountain, so we wish all of the student-athletes on our swim team good luck!
