Principal's Message - 9/30/18

Good evening, this is Mr. Kennedy, principal of Forbush High School. I have a few announcements and updates I would like to share with you this evening.

Fall Blood Drive

I want to begin this evening by congratulating our Forbush HOSA club, including adviser Adrianna Sloan, on another great Blood Drive conducted last Friday. We collected 149 units in this year’s fall Blood Drive. Many thanks to the students and community members who participated in this year’s drive.

Seniors, sign up for Remind

I have one announcement for our seniors and their parents this evening. Seniors and parents, be sure to sign up through “Remind” to receive text message alerts with important senior information. To receive these text messages, just text @19falcons to 81010 or to 252-558-0171. A full list of instructions can be found on the Graduation Central page under the “Parents” menu on the Forbush Website. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Kennedy or Mr. Hutchens.

AM Student-Drivers

Over the last few weeks, we have had several student-drivers arriving on campus very early in the morning. Parents, we are encouraging all student-drivers not to arrive on campus before 7:30am each morning. This policy is in place for the safety and well-being of our students. Parents, please remind your student drivers not to arrive on campus before 7:30am each morning.

Underclassman Picture Day

Picture Day for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be this Wednesday, October 3. Students, this picture will be used for this year’s Student Yearbook. Once again, Picture Day for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be this Wednesday, October 3.

Forbush Band Mattress Sale Fundraiser

This Saturday, October 6, is the annual Forbush Band Mattress Sale Fundraiser. This event will begin at 10am. Come on by Forbush High School this Saturday to get a great deal on a great bed while also support our Falcon Band!
