Thoughts and Prayers for the Baker Family
Unfortunately, I must end tonight’s message on a somber note. As many of you know by now, Forbush High School senior Marshall Baker passed away just a few days ago after a long battle with cancer. The entire Forbush community is greatly saddened by this loss and we will all miss Marshall very much. As heartbreaking as this time is right now, we also rejoice knowing that Marshall is in a better place, free from the pains of this world.

I want to personally thank all of the people who reached out to the Baker family and to our school to offer their condolences. I am touched by the heartfelt manner in which the Forbush community rallied support and prayers around the Baker family, as well as for the students and staff here at Forbush. Thank you for helping unite our community in the midst of such overwhelming pain and sadness. Please continue to keep the Baker family, as well as the students and staff at Forbush, in your thoughts and prayers.

That is all for this evening. Please do not hesitate to call or email me if you ever have any questions or concerns. Thank you very much for your time this evening. Good night.
