The men’s tennis team finished second in the conference this year with senior Matt Wilhelm advancing all the way to the quarterfinals of the state tournament.

Men’s golf, baseball, softball, and women’s soccer all brought home conference titles this season.

Men’s golf completed the season with a 68-7 record and finished 5th in the state. The baseball team finished with a 17-8 overall record, 10-2 in conference play. The softball team finished with an undefeated 12-0 conference record, 20-4 overall, and a #11 ranking in the state.

The women’s soccer team advanced to the fourth round of the state playoffs, finishing the season with a perfect 12-0 record in conference play, 17-3-2 overall, and a #7 ranking in the state. Congratulations to all of our spring student-athletes.

Students of the Month
I also want to congratulate our final group of students of the month for the 2018-19 school year. These students include Norah Smitherman, Reid Coe, Hannah Newton, and Chase Farmer.

State Exams Begin Tomorrow
Parents and students, this is a reminder that spring semester state exams begin tomorrow, Monday, May 20. First period exams will be administered on Monday, second period on Tuesday, third period on Wednesday, and fourth period on Thursday. Friday will serve as an exam make-up day and students only need to attend school on that day if they need to make up a state exam. Details regarding the Spring Semester Exam Schedule can be found on our website near the bottom of the home page under “Latest News.”

Cheerleading Informational Meeting and Tryouts
There will be an informational meeting tomorrow, Monday, May 20 for all prospective cheerleaders and their parents beginning at 6:30pm in the Forbush cafeteria. Cheerleading tryouts for the 2019 Fall season will be held May 22, 23, and 24 from 4pm to 6pm.

Special Event for Seniors who attended Boonville Elementary
Any Forbush senior who previously attended school at Boonville Elementary is invited to a Senior breakfast on Thursday, May 23, if they do not have a 4th period exam that morning. If you are interested in attending this special event, please contact Dr. Kennedy so that he can provide you with additional information.

That is all for this evening. As always, if you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or email me anytime. Also, please be sure to check out our web site and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for daily updates. Thank you for your time this evening, goodnight.
