Principal's Message - 12/11/16

Good evening, this is Mr. Kennedy, principal of Forbush High School. I have a few announcements and updates I would like to share with you this evening.

I want to begin tonight by reminding everyone that our Winter Band Concert is scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, December 12). This performance will begin at 7pm in the auditorium.

Also, our Winter Chorus Concert will be this Thursday, December 15. This performance will also begin at 7pm and in the auditorium. Thank you in advance for supporting our band and chorus programs at FHS!

Seniors, if you have been accepted to one or more colleges, please bring your college acceptance letter to the School Counseling office so that we can recognize your accomplishments.

If any Beta member is interested in attending the State Convention, February 3rd and 4th, there will be an info meeting on Thursday, December 15 in Rachel Davis's room. You have the option to attend the meeting at 7:35am or right after school at 3:05pm.

The FFA has poinsettias on sale now. This year the FFA has red 6-inch pots that are being sold for $8 each. Please let Mrs. Jensen know how many you would like. Supply is limited so order yours while they last.

I want to say “thank you” to Chuck Wooten and Yadkin Valley Farms for the generous donation of two microwaves for our students to use in the cafeteria. Thank you for your very kind gift to FHS!
