Principal's Message - 12/18/16

Good evening, this is Mr. Kennedy, principal of Forbush High School. I have a few announcements and updates I would like to share with you this evening.

I want to begin this evening by thanking all of the students, staff, and community members who participated in our FHS Angel Tree. 21 families received over 100 gift donations this year. THANK YOU to everyone who participated and a special THANK YOU goes out to Renaee Gentry, who organized this year’s Angel Tree project.

I also want to thank all of the students who participated in our Friends Feeding Friends event. Over 20,000 items were donated and will go to families in need this Holiday season. Special thanks to Mr. Miner, Mrs. Beuter, Mrs. Jordan and their classes for leading the school in donations, and to the FCA and Junior ROTC for their support as well. Also, a special thanks goes out to Mr. Pruitt and Mr. Hauser for organizing the program.
