Good evening, this is Mr. Kennedy, principal of Forbush High School. I have a few announcements and updates I would like to share with you this evening.

Gina Myers also finished 18th in the 200 Freestyle and 14th in the 500 Freestyle.

8th Grade Parent Night
Our annual 8th Grade Parent Night is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, February 12. This will be a floating event from 5:00 to 6:30. Rising freshmen and their parents are welcome to visit during that time frame and meet our teachers, learn more about our course and program offerings, and become more familiar with our campus.

ACT Prep for Juniors
Juniors, be sure to check your email for information about test prep materials for the ACT. Several websites have been shared with you that can help you raise your ACT score, which all juniors will take on February 27.

In preparation for the ACT, juniors are invited to sign up for a free, one-day ACT Boot Camp here at Forbush on Tuesday, February 20. This session will be led by a professional test prep trainer from MasteryPrep. Lunch and snacks will be provided, but we have a limited number of spots, so sign up this week in the office before it is too late!

Forbush Cheer
The Forbush Cheerleading squad will host a Cheer Showcase on Saturday, February 17. This event will be held in the Forbush gym from 9am to noon. Congratulations and best of luck to our cheerleaders for qualifying for Nationals in March.

Forbush Hunter Safety
The Forbush Hunter Safety team will hold a scrimmage on Saturday, February 17. This scrimmage will begin at 8am on the range for anyone who would like to attend.

Home Sports
Monday - Women’s Basketball v. Carver (WPAC Tournament)

That is all for this evening. Please be sure to check out our web site and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for daily updates. Thank you for your time this evening, goodnight.
