Principal's Message - 3/18/18

Good evening, this is Mr. Kennedy, principal of Forbush High School. I have a few announcements and updates I would like to share with you this evening.

Congratulations
I want to begin this evening by congratulating our students in DECA for their recent performance at the state level Career Development Conference. Numerous students won proficiency awards in various categories, including Kayden East, Austin Pardue, Mallory Fobes, Meghan Anthony, Jesse Keaton, Alma Cervantes, Chasten Coleman, Jaron Sears, and Caroline Montoya. Abigail Lydick and Anna Kathryn Kilby were Finalists in Apparel and Accessories Marketing, while Kilby was also an overall finalist for the conference. Congratulations to Mrs. Funk and all of our DECA students.

I also want to congratulate our Forbush Band for their recent MPA performance. The Forbush band earned a rating of "Excellent" for their stage performance and a rating of "Superior" for sight reading. Congratulations to Mr. Elliott and the Forbush High School Band.
