Principal's Message - 3/31/19

Good evening, this is Mr. Kennedy, principal of Forbush High School. I have a few announcements and updates I would like to share with you this evening.

Forbush Hunter Safety
Congratulations to our Forbush Hunter Safety Team on their performance at a recent competition. Our first team finished in first place in orientering, first place in rifle, second place in shotgun, and third place in bow. Our second team also finished in second place in orienteering. Also, Garrett Poindexter finished as the first place individual overall and Dalton Matthews finished first in orienteering and book work. Congratulations to our Hunter Safety Team!

HOSA Blood Drive
Thank you to everyone who donated at our recent HOSA Blood Drive. Forbush collected 153 units of blood at this year’s spring drive. Shout out to Mrs. Sloan, Ms. Carter, and all of the HOSA students who helped organize our blood drives this year.

Forbush Band
Congratulations to the following Forbush band students who have been selected to participate in the 2019 Piedmont Honors Band: Spencer North, Delaney Coy, Kristian Davis, Mary Faulkner, and Emily Post. This is quite an honor for our band program, so congratulations to these students and best of luck!
